Kindred Music & Culture Festival

In 2018 and 2019, I produced Kindred Music & Culture Festival, an independent festival in Detroit, MI. As the producer, I managed all executive duties, including artist relations, vendor coordination, and permitting. My responsibilities involved curating a lineup that celebrated artistic diversity, fostering community engagement, and delivering an unforgettable experience for attendees. This role allowed me to highlight the richness of our cultural landscape and support the creative community in a meaningful way.

I developed a comprehensive content and social media strategy, highlighting the stories of musical performers and artists, resulting in over 130,000 impressions across various platforms. Additionally, I secured media coverage in numerous publications and online blogs, generating 10,000 unique media impressions that emphasized the importance of creating space for independent artists.
